Jan North

With sadness we learn Jan North died in a hospice late September. She was well known to and loved by many Elm Villagers. Jan was at the centre of our musical community in particular and we shall miss her joyful singing at the annual Carols at the Con gathering. Her funeral is on 18th October and there will be a reception at the Con. For more information please contact us.

Join us! The Camley Street Harvest Festival 29th Sept

All Elm Villagers are invited . . . to the Camley Street Harvest Party:

Friday 29th September 5pm Р9pm @ Alara Wholefoods, 110-112 Camley Street N1C 4PF

Come and meet neighbours who live or work in and around Camley Street. Arrive anytime from 5 onwards but be warned – the roast disappears very fast!

There will also be news on progress with the Neighbourhood Plan – after deliberating over our financial model for a large proportion of affordable housing for several months Camden have now (literally a few days ago) asked us to prepare a ‘Strategic Environmental Assessment’ and we’re now already in the process of applying for a grant to get that done.

Regardless of anything though – please do come to the party on Friday – it will be great to see you there.

Find out what’s going on in Camley Street 18th May 18:30

The Camley Street Neighbourhood Forum will give an update on the planning and development going on in Camley Street. This will include the plans of a coalition of businesses and residents to develop social housing, green space, and low impact businesses.

Meeting 18th May 18:30 in the Camden Garden Centre, Barker Drive. All welcome.
