All Elm Village residents are invited to the AGM. This is your chance to raise issues you feel important to our community. On the agenda will be our latest updates from Places for People, what’s happening around Camley Street and the wider King’s Cross plan, we’ll have a representative from our Safer Neighbourhoods team, and much more.
So come and join your fellow neighbours
24th July – in the Constitution cellar bar – 7pm till 8pm
Thanks to everyone who attended bringing their cooked and baked goodies. A lovely time was had by all. Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped organise in advance and on the day. The weather was perfect and the conversation even better. There was plenty of savoury and sweet food for everyone – and even our friends from the Safer Neighbourhoods team stopped by. Here’s to another year in a great community!
The rain eased off just in time for the Elm Village Season Celebrations just before the Christmas Holidays. A good time was had by all. Special thanks to all the organisers and performers including David & Harriet, Ed & Frances, Zoe, Jan, Pat, Peter, Nigel, Wendy and staff at the Constitution, Mike and his crew at Camden Garden Centre. Here’s a selection of photos sent in by residents.
Each year, our friends at the Camden Garden Centre donate a Christmas Tree to Evtra. The tree will be on the Green in the Crescent. It’s also a tradition for residents to gather round the tree.
Please join your neighbours and friends for a candle-lit family celebration around the tree on the Green in the Crescent (Rossendale Way). 19th December 5:30pm – 6:15pm
Bring a couple of baubles for the tree
Come and sing Christmas songs with Harriet, our resident multi-instrumentalist
Mince pies, fizzy drinks and a lucky dip for the kids
This is followed by our ever-popular festive sing-song which takes place in the Constitution at 7:00pm. We gather in the bar cellar, with mince pies and mulled wine courtesy of our host Wendy, the Constitution’s lovely landlady. This is your chance to wish your neighbours the best of the season and belt out Away in a Manger as heartily as you can.

The rain held off for just long enough and the Big Lunch went on, very successfully indeed – with lots of thanks due to David and Harriet Powell and all their helpers for their hard work. Loads of Elm Villagers turned out for a veritable feast and chit chat. We even had a visit from our Police Safer Neighbourhoods team (one of them had a particularly hearty appetite – no names mentioned). Let’s look forward to another such occasion.
